Moments explores the quiet intensity of ordinary life through figurative painting.

Rather than depicting events, the series seeks to capture brief states of presence: a gesture, a pause, the quality of light, or the subtle atmosphere that surrounds a person.

During this period, my painting shifted away from technical precision towards a more intuitive language. Brushwork became freer, details disappeared, and composition relied increasingly on perception rather than description.

The paintings are not intended to reproduce reality faithfully, but to preserve the emotional resonance of fleeting experiences. They reflect an ongoing artistic research into how light, silence and human presence shape our perception of everyday life.

Moments marks a turning point in my practice, laying the foundations for the perceptual approach that continues to inform later projects such as Grounding and Micro Worlds.
