Crowds investigates the invisible relationships that emerge within shared spaces.

Although each painting centres on several figures, the true subject is the network of silent connections between people, architecture, light and atmosphere.

Rather than portraying individuals as isolated subjects, the series explores how human presence is shaped by its surroundings and by the subtle tensions that exist between proximity, distance and coexistence.

Developed alongside Moments, these paintings represent an important stage in the evolution of my visual language. Loose brushwork, selective detail and an emphasis on atmosphere replace descriptive realism, allowing perception to guide the painting process.

Crowds reflects my interest in observing not only what is visible, but also the emotional and spatial dynamics that define our experience of collective environments.
