CONNECT (2017)

CONNECT was an experimental participatory art project exploring authorship, memory and visual interpretation.

The project invited volunteers to anonymously donate personal photographs and images, which became the starting point for new paintings and drawings.

Rather than reproducing the original material, each artwork reinterpreted the donated images through a new visual narrative, transforming their meaning while respecting the emotional integrity of the source material.

The project explored questions such as:

How does an image change when seen through another person's imagination?
Can visual narratives generate new emotional meanings?
What remains of the original memory after artistic transformation?

CONNECT marked the beginning of my interest in storytelling through images, an investigation that later expanded into painting, immersive audiovisual works and transmedia narratives.
